About the Company
The contemporary dance company 420PEOPLE, named after the Czech country code, was founded in 2007/2008 by Václav Kuneš and Nataša Novotná after they returned to their homeland from one of the most renowned dance theaters in the world, Jiří Kylián's Nederlands Dans Theater. 420PEOPLE is an interplay of excellent dance quality, professionalism and complex playfulness.
Furthermore, 420PEOPLE is a collective of artists who place the utmost importance on exceptional quality, performance and professionalism. Their work is at once playful and bold, bringing an almost infinite vocabulary of contemporary dance to the stage.
